The hinge modules for Huawei’s latest AI glasses will feature a bespoke solution from Huan Yan New Materials, a subsidiary of Yuto Technology. These modules are tailored precisely to Huawei’s specifications, with production plans set to deliver between 400,000 and 500,000 units of the new AI glasses. Huan Yan Technology, a majority-owned subsidiary acquired by Yuto Technology in February 2026, brings both technological expertise and customer relationships, particularly in hinge modules for foldable smartphones.
According to multiple sources, Huawei’s new AI glasses are scheduled for launch on April 21, with prices starting at 1,799 yuan, or roughly 1,530 yuan after subsidies. Key features include high-definition video recording, real-time multilingual interpretation, and seamless integration with the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
