On Wednesday, the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia turned down a petition put forth by artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, declining to issue a temporary injunction that would prevent the U.S. Department of Defense from placing the company on a blacklist. Anthropic is presently engaged in legal proceedings challenging this sanction.
