On Wednesday, a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., dismissed a request by artificial intelligence startup Anthropic to temporarily halt its blacklisting by the U.S. Department of Defense, as the company pursues litigation on the matter. Previously, a judge in a federal court in San Francisco granted Anthropic a preliminary injunction late last month in a related case, prohibiting the Trump administration from enforcing a ban on the use of its Claude AI technology.
