On April 8th, news surfaced indicating that Rokid, a company specializing in AI glasses, might submit its application for listing in Hong Kong as soon as late April. Established in 2014 by Zhu Mingming (also known as Misa), a Zhejiang University alumnus who joined Alibaba in 2010 following the acquisition of his startup, Rokid underwent a shareholding restructuring in March of this year and subsequently rebranded as Lingban Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. In response to the rumors, Zhu Mingming clarified that the completion of the shareholding restructuring bears no direct connection to the company's plans for going public. Instead, Rokid is currently channeling its efforts into the development of new products.
