On March 29, at the General Artificial Intelligence Forum held during the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, the world's inaugural general-purpose intelligent agent, 'TongTong' 3.0, was officially launched, accompanied by the simultaneous unveiling of its core embodied intelligence engine, 'Tong Brain'. This milestone represents a significant stride for China in the realm of general artificial intelligence, signifying a shift from "isolated technological breakthroughs" to "holistic capability enhancements". It establishes a robust foundation for general-purpose intelligent agents to navigate open worlds and empower practical applications. 'TongTong' 3.0 has undergone remarkable advancements across three fundamental dimensions: spatial intelligence, cognitive intelligence, and social intelligence. These enhancements enable the agent to perceive the physical world with precision, autonomously plan complex tasks, discern emotional intentions, and engage in human-like interactions. Its decision-making process is both explainable and traceable, mitigating the issues of "hallucinations" and logical inconsistencies commonly associated with traditional large models. To facilitate the development of 'TongTong' 3.0, the Tong Institute has constructed a 3D simulated virtual world named 'AI Town'. This environment boasts hundreds of meticulously designed indoor scenes and a comprehensive urban-scale outdoor setting. Furthermore, as the core embodied intelligence engine, 'Tong Brain' is set to propel embodied robots into a "general-purpose era", endowing them with autonomous decision-making, continuous learning, and cross-scenario generalization capabilities.
