Wang Yunhe, who was at the helm of Huawei's Pangu large model project, has revealed his plans to leave the company and dive into the Agent industry. He is currently in the process of discreetly raising funds. Wang, born in 1991, completed his undergraduate degree at Xidian University and went on to earn his Ph.D. from Peking University. In 2017, he joined Huawei's Noah's Ark Lab as an intern and transitioned to a full-time role the next year. Over the course of eight years, he climbed the ranks, serving as a senior engineer and eventually ascending to the position of director of Noah's Ark Lab in 2025. Wang boasts an outstanding academic track record, with 33,109 citations and an h-index of 68. He has been honored with Huawei's 'Top Ten Inventions' award, and his related research findings have found applications in China's Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST).
