On March 24, the creation of China's inaugural 'industry standard for embodied intelligent engineering robots' got underway in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This standard is slated for release within the current year, with the objective of bridging the existing void in the intelligent engineering robotics sector. It will achieve this by establishing unified benchmarks for product technology assessment, safety standards, and widespread deployment, thus facilitating the industry's shift from the technology development stage to the standard-setting stage. During the occasion, the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center also introduced the world's inaugural multimodal large model tailored specifically for embodied intelligent engineering robots.
