Recently, He Jingzhou, previously with Baidu’s Large Model Algorithm Department, has transitioned to the Mobile Ecosystem Business Group (MEG) and has been appointed as the new head of the Baidu APP R&D Center, reporting directly to Luo Rong. His predecessor, Zhao Shiqi, has departed from the company for personal reasons.

He Jingzhou is a seasoned technical management talent nurtured within Baidu. This strategic move is designed to foster deeper integration between large models and Baidu’s search and recommendation services, expedite product iteration cycles, and elevate both quality and user experience.

Prior to this, Baidu’s MEG division underwent a comprehensive organizational restructuring, consolidating its PC and mobile search operations under the leadership of Li Xiaowan, who oversees user product operations. Additionally, the company established two new centers: the Baidu APP R&D Center and the Experience & Quality Assurance Center, further solidifying its commitment to innovation and excellence.
