Recently, xAI, the artificial intelligence enterprise under Musk's leadership, has witnessed a substantial exodus of talent following its integration with SpaceX. Originally, there were 11 core members who co-founded xAI alongside Musk. However, currently, only 2 of these founding members remain. Confronted with this predicament, Musk openly engaged in self-reflection. He conceded that the company had certain flaws in its initial configuration and declared that it was undergoing a complete overhaul, being rebuilt from scratch. Moreover, Musk extended an apology for having turned down highly skilled applicants in the past and expressed his intention to re-establish contact with potential candidates. Notwithstanding these challenges, Musk remains proactive in recruiting fresh talent for the company. For instance, he has successfully lured two executives away from Cursor, a burgeoning startup that specializes in AI programming tools.
