A correspondent from the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily reported from the inaugural Shanghai Blossom Brain Science and Brain-Computer Interface International Forum that Shanghai has seen the establishment of several brain-computer interface research centers. Notably, the "Shanghai Blossom Brain Science and Brain-Computer System Innovation Research Center," affiliated with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center, was officially inaugurated. This center aims to synergize the technological prowess of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center with the clinical expertise of Shanghai Blossom Brain Hospital, fostering the integration of artificial intelligence technology with clinical brain research. Its ultimate goal is to achieve groundbreaking and transformative outcomes.

In addition, the "Brain-Computer Engineering and AI Basic and Clinical Research Innovation Consortium," a collaborative effort between the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Blossom Brain Hospital, was also unveiled. Furthermore, the "National Demonstration Center for Precision Targeted Therapy in Neuromodulation," co-established by Tianyou Hospital, affiliated with Tongji University, and Galaxy Brain (Beijing) Medical Co., Ltd., made its debut. The former consortium is dedicated to advancing core technologies in brain-computer interfaces and neuromodulation, while the latter center is committed to setting quality benchmarks for neuromodulation and promoting precision diagnosis and treatment methodologies.
