Anthropic has announced that the 1 million token context window for its flagship models, Claude Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6, is now fully available and billed at standard rates on the Claude platform, with no additional charges for long contexts. Under the new pricing system, the input cost for Opus 4.6 is $5 per million tokens, with output at $25; for Sonnet 4.6, the input cost is $3 per million tokens, with output at $15. Whether the request is for 900,000 tokens or 9,000 tokens, the cost per token remains consistent.
