A portion of the remaining staff will be assimilated into the Flyme in-car system team, while others will shift their focus to the AI software domain. In response, Meizu clarified that the company is presently at a pivotal juncture in its comprehensive strategic overhaul, transitioning from traditional hardware-centric operations to AI-powered software and service innovation. Such organizational and personnel shifts are deemed typical during this transformative phase. At present, aside from halting in-house R&D endeavors for new smartphone hardware within the domestic market, the company's overseas smartphone operations, AI glasses smart hardware business, and PANDAER trendy tech brand activities continue unabated.
