As reported by EuroNews, a seemingly "empty" book titled Don’t Steal This Book has garnered significant attention at the London Book Fair. Co-authored by nearly 10,000 British and American writers, the book features nothing but a list of the authors' names—a symbolic gesture protesting AI companies' unauthorized use of their works to train artificial intelligence models. Organizers emphasized that this collective action is a direct response to proposed amendments to the UK’s copyright law, which could potentially permit AI firms to exploit copyrighted material without obtaining proper consent.
