Mike Krieger, former co-founder of Instagram and current executive at Anthropic, revealed that Anthropic's AI chatbot Claude is gaining over 1 million new users per day. This growth may be attributed to the ethical advantage Anthropic demonstrated amid controversies involving the Pentagon, as well as the accelerating overall adoption of AI technology. Since October 2025, both OpenAI and Anthropic have seen significant annualized revenue growth, but the companies still face high operational costs, with financial burdens offsetting some of the revenue growth effects.
