The year 2026 heralds the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. At the Two Sessions, Zhou Yunjie, an NPC deputy and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Haier Group, presented four proposals that span new-type industrialization, artificial intelligence (AI), population aging, and science popularization education. Regarding new-type industrialization, he recommended fostering embodied intelligence, overcoming technological barriers, establishing infrastructure and standard systems, and undertaking application demonstrations. In the realm of AI, he advocated for refining the standard system, bolstering technological prevention and control measures, and creating a collaborative ecosystem. To address population aging, he proposed the development of a professional service ecosystem tailored to Alzheimer's disease. As for science popularization education, he suggested boosting the availability of high-quality science popularization content, enhancing state-led and collaborative initiatives, and refining policies and market conditions that underpin the growth of the industrial chain.
