Telekom reports that Deutsche Telekom has officially rolled out an AI communication solution at the network level, known as the Magenta AI Call Assistant. This service, developed in partnership with ElevenLabs, offers real-time AI assistance during standard phone calls, eliminating the necessity for a specific app or a high-end device. Users can simply activate the service by saying 'Hey Magenta' and take advantage of features like real-time multilingual translation and the generation of conversation summaries. Initially accessible to users in Germany, the service is set to expand its language support to 50 languages over the next year.
