The National Radio and Television Administration has declared that efforts to regulate 'AI-altered' videos have now entered a phase of normalization. The primary focus is on purging unauthorized 'AI-altered' videos and parody animations that are based on classic film and television masterpieces, such as the Four Great Classical Novels, as well as content revolving around historical themes, revolutionary narratives, and heroic figures. Throughout February, various platforms took action: Douyin removed 4,195 unauthorized videos, Kuaishou eliminated 4,096, WeChat cleared out 3,956, Weibo intercepted and cleaned up over 164, Bilibili intercepted and disposed of over 1,000, Xiaohongshu cleaned up and disposed of 679 videos and dealt with 13 unauthorized accounts, while Baidu inspected and cleaned up 841 videos and muted 5 accounts.
