On March 3, 2026, the team at Ant Group's Tianji Laboratory introduced the AoE continuous first-person video collection framework, a groundbreaking innovation that presents a lightweight and cost-effective solution for embodied data collection. By leveraging just a smartphone and a neck-mounted bracket—costing under $20—this framework can replace professional equipment valued at tens of thousands of dollars. This not only enables high-quality data collection but also overcomes the long-standing challenges of high costs and scalability issues in embodied data collection. Practical tests have demonstrated that, after integrating AoE data, the success rate of the Unitree G1 robot in turning off a computer soared from 45% to 95%.
