At the MWC 2026 World Mobile Communications Conference held in Barcelona, Yuan Yuan, President of Huawei's Data Storage Product Line, announced the launch of an AI data platform. Presently, the industry is characterized by a prevalent trend of 'prioritizing training over inference.' This has led to a situation where, despite inference being a vital aspect of AI application deployment, most models have not been deeply integrated into the core operations of telecom operators. To tackle this challenge, Huawei has developed a groundbreaking '3+1' AI data platform. This platform effectively overcomes bottlenecks in inference operations by leveraging knowledge bases, PB-scale KV Cache, memory banks, and UCM technology, thereby significantly improving the user inference experience. The platform supports both integrated and separated deployment options. The integrated mode is built upon the OceanStor A800, while the separated mode employs a 'data engine node + OceanStor Dorado' architecture, offering flexibility and scalability to meet diverse customer needs.
