According to CNBC, OpenAI announced on Friday that it had completed a funding round of $110 billion, more than double the size of its previous funding round a year ago, setting a record for funding in a private technology company. OpenAI's statement revealed that Amazon, NVIDIA, and SoftBank invested $50 billion, $30 billion, and $30 billion respectively. This round of investment values OpenAI at $730 billion (pre-investment), a significant increase from its $500 billion valuation during secondary financing in October.
