On February 27, Alibaba unveiled its strategic move into the AI hardware arena with its personal AI assistant, "QianWen," announcing plans to introduce a range of AI hardware products on a global scale this year. The inaugural offering, a pair of AI glasses also christened QianWen, will make its debut at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC). Pre-orders for these glasses will commence across all sales channels on March 2. Alibaba is dedicated to transforming QianWen into a versatile AI assistant that seamlessly blends software and hardware functionalities across a multitude of device formats. Insider sources reveal that, in addition to the AI glasses, QianWen is set to launch other innovative products, including AI rings and AI earphones, throughout the year, all aimed at capturing the global market.
