According to the 57th Statistical Report on Internet Development in China, as of December 2025, China's internet penetration rate has soared past 80%, boasting a staggering 1.125 billion internet users. The added value generated by core industries within the digital economy has surged to account for 10.5% of the nation's GDP. In particular, the user base for generative artificial intelligence has skyrocketed to 602 million, marking a remarkable 141.7% increase from the end of 2024 and achieving a penetration rate of 42.8%. Generative AI is rapidly integrating into both daily life and various production sectors, emerging as a pivotal force propelling society towards digital and intelligent transformation.
