According to The Decoder, OpenAI has updated ChatGPT by introducing a full-screen viewer feature that allows users to open AI-generated in-depth research reports in a separate window. The left side features a table of contents for navigation, while the right side lists reference sources, enabling users to quickly jump to and review sections. Users can specify information source websites, monitor research progress in real-time, adjust the research scope, or add reference materials. Once the report is complete, it supports downloading in formats such as Markdown, Word, and PDF. This update is powered by the GPT-5.2 model and is now available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro users, with Go subscribers and free users set to receive the update in the coming days.
