On February 5, Tencent Games issued an announcement outlining gaming time limits for minors during the 2026 winter break and the Spring Festival holiday season. Specifically, from February 5 to March 5, underage players will be permitted to access games only between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM each day, culminating in a total playtime allowance of 15 hours for the entire winter break period. In tandem with these restrictions, Tencent Games' Growth Guardian Platform has integrated AI technology to roll out three innovative features: the 'AI Gaming Weekly Report,' 'AI One-Click Control,' and the 'Parental AI Assistant.' Designed to streamline parental oversight, these tools empower parents to implement scientific and effective supervision. At present, these features are undergoing grayscale testing.
