On February 4, a Bloomberg report revealed that NVIDIA is on the verge of clinching a deal to invest a staggering $20 billion in OpenAI as part of its most recent funding initiative. This move would mark NVIDIA's most substantial single investment in OpenAI thus far. Nevertheless, it's important to note that the agreement is not yet set in stone, and the terms are subject to potential modifications. Both OpenAI and NVIDIA have chosen to remain tight-lipped on the matter. Prior to this, NVIDIA had unveiled intentions to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI, but that particular proposal has hit a roadblock and is currently stalled.
