On February 1, 2026, news surfaced that Kimi, an AI offering from Yuezhi'anmian, took to Weibo on the evening of January 31 to voice its distress. The company reported that when users typed 'Kimi official website' into Baidu's search bar, the top four results labeled as 'official website' were, in fact, not the genuine site but rather advertisements. Kimi expressed concern that featuring 'Kimi official website' in the website titles of these ads could readily deceive users. Following a wave of public discontent, Baidu refined its search algorithm. Presently, a search for 'Kimi official website' yields Kimi's authentic website as the top result. Subsequently, Yuezhi'anmian announced that 'normalcy has been restored' and removed the pertinent Weibo post.
