This innovative feature introduces what is termed an "AI Content Disclosure Attribute." This attribute enables webpage creators to specify the extent of AI's contribution within HTML components. Developers have the capability to append pertinent attributes and labels to distinct segments of a webpage. Subsequently, the Chrome browser will visually alert users once it identifies the presence of AI-generated content. However, it's crucial to note that this system hinges on the voluntary participation of authors, who must willingly disclose the use of AI. The overarching goal is to foster greater transparency within the digital landscape. At present, this proposal is still in its nascent stages of discussion, and it may be some time before it is formally integrated into the browser. Nevertheless, should it prove successful, there is a possibility that other browsers may adopt similar measures in the future.
