On January 26th, Tencent hosted its annual gala for the year 2026. During this event, founder Ma Huateng shared the stage with Tencent’s senior executives, delivering a lively rendition of the song 'Full of Momentum'. Tencent President Martin Lau ceremoniously draped a red scarf, featuring Tencent’s iconic penguin logo, around Ma Huateng's shoulders. Throughout the gala, Ma Huateng engaged warmly with the staff, playfully tossing QQ penguin plush toys into the crowd. Furthermore, Ma Huateng unveiled exciting news: Tencent’s AI application, 'Yuanbao', is set to roll out a 'Share 1 Billion Yuan in Cash' promotion during the Spring Festival. He also shared that a new social platform, named 'Yuanbao Pai', is currently in the development pipeline.
