On January 26th, Tencent's AI assistant, Yuanbao, discreetly commenced the internal testing phase for a novel social AI function dubbed 'Yuanbao Club'. As per the leaked screenshots from the internal testing, users are granted the ability to either establish or become part of a 'Club'. Within these clubs, they can mention Yuanbao (@Yuanbao) or reference its messages. The Yuanbao AI will then step in to summarize the conversation and devise engaging check-in activities tailored to users' interests, such as fitness routines and reading challenges, effectively assuming the role of a 'supervisor'. The introduction of 'Yuanbao Club' marks Tencent's pioneering stride in the AI sector, delving into the integration of AI within multi-person social settings and crafting a social environment where AI and users can synergize and enjoy themselves in unison.
