The General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government has rolled out policies aimed at advancing the integration of artificial intelligence within the transportation industry. These initiatives encompass accelerating the research and development of specialized AI models and agents, and deploying them effectively in areas such as traffic facility condition assessment, operational surveillance, emergency response coordination, traveler services, operational upkeep, and industry regulation. Moreover, a dedicated knowledge repository tailored to the transportation sector will be developed, alongside a knowledge graph framework to facilitate model refinement and intelligent decision-making processes. Additionally, efforts will be made to establish a shared technology platform for large-scale model technologies, thereby improving engineering execution efficiency. Capitalizing on the digitization of highway and waterway infrastructures, priority will be given to achieving breakthroughs in critical technologies including real-time dynamic scenario perception, multi-modal data integration, intelligent control systems, and strategy optimization.
