On January 15th, Beijing time, as reported by the Financial Times, Elon Musk has responded to external demands to prevent his Grok AI model from generating indecent images. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer declared that X (the company behind Grok) will adhere to UK cybersecurity regulations, ensuring that Grok does not generate realistic, human-like images without proper consent. Previously, Grok was misused to create and circulate sexualized content featuring real individuals, including adult women and minors. This misuse has drawn widespread condemnation from governments around the world, as well as from women's and children's rights organizations. Several countries have even called for the removal of related applications. In response, Musk stated that Grok will be programmed to refuse generating any illegal content. He also claimed to have been unaware of the generation of nude images of minors by the AI.
