On January 15, 2026, Wang Yajun, who serves as the co-head of Equity Capital Markets for Asia (excluding Japan) at Goldman Sachs, expressed his view that Hong Kong's capital market is poised to maintain its vibrancy. He noted that the volumes of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and refinancing activities are expected to remain robust. The overall financing scale is projected to surpass historical averages. Although the growth pace may decelerate compared to 2025, it will still sustain a high level. Furthermore, Wang Yajun emphasized that there is currently no bubble in China's AI sector. He also forecasted that in 2026, a greater number of AI and AI-related enterprises will seek listings on Hong Kong's capital market.
