Several online audio-visual platforms have now released their handling results from the first week: WeChat has removed 1,078 short videos that violated regulations; by January 8, Douyin had taken down 1,075 violating videos; Kuaishou has disposed of 1,057 items of violating content; Bilibili has intercepted and removed over 700 violating submissions; Xiaohongshu has purged 487 pieces of violating content and 21 violating accounts; Baidu has reviewed and cleared 284 violating videos and shut down 2 accounts; Weibo has intercepted and cleared more than 190 violating videos, muting 7 violating accounts in the process.
