At the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), emerging tech firm Ludens AI made a splash by introducing two innovative companion robots: Cocomo and Inu. Cocomo is ingeniously designed as an autonomous mobile 'robot pet.' Its outer shell is engineered to maintain a steady temperature of approximately 37 degrees Celsius, which can gently rise to around 39 degrees Celsius when in frequent contact with users. This robot engages with its human companions through a combination of soft humming sounds and fluid movements. Over time, Cocomo learns and adapts to the user's preferences, fostering a deep emotional bond. On the other hand, Inu, dubbed the 'desktop alien puppy,' is crafted to be compact and space-efficient. Its interactive features include a responsive tail and expressive eyes that react to sounds or touch, making it an ideal companion for office and study settings.
