Beijing recently hosted the "2026 Beijing AI Innovation Hub Construction Promotion Conference". At the conference, Yang Xiuling, the Director of the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, unveiled the "Action Plan for Establishing Beijing as an AI Innovation Hub". According to the plan, by 2025, the scale of Beijing's AI core industry is anticipated to reach 450 billion yuan. The number of AI-related enterprises in the city is expected to exceed 2,500, with both figures accounting for roughly half of the national total. Among these, there are nearly 60 listed companies and around 40 unicorn companies. Beijing has witnessed the rise of numerous leading firms in the AI sector, exemplified by Doubao. In the third quarter, Doubao's monthly active users soared past 172 million, establishing it as the domestic AI application with the largest monthly active user base in China. Furthermore, its mobile phone assistant is at the forefront of driving industry transformation.
