Market rumors have surfaced indicating that Zhou Guorui, the Vice President of Kuaishou Technology and the individual overseeing the development of fundamental large models as well as recommendation models, is on the verge of resigning. Internal records reveal that he is currently on leave, with his signature status updated to "Logged Out." Zhou Guorui, who earned his master's degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, previously held the position of Senior Algorithm Expert at Alibaba. He joined Kuaishou in 2021 and played a pivotal role in spearheading the creation of Kuaishou's generative end-to-end architecture, OneRec. As of the time of this report, Kuaishou has yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter.
