Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province released a notice concerning the "Action Plan for the Comprehensive Deployment of 'AI Plus' in Yunnan Province." The notice outlines that by 2027, Yunnan Province aims to accomplish extensive and profound integration of artificial intelligence across six pivotal sectors. The application penetration rate of next-generation smart terminals and intelligent agents is expected to align with national standards. Additionally, the core industries within the intelligent economy are projected to start taking shape, the efficiency of AI applications in public governance will markedly enhance, and the system for open cooperation will be further refined. Specific objectives encompass the establishment of over 30 representative application scenarios, more than 30 high-caliber datasets, the construction of over 10 "AI Plus" innovation hubs, the development of over 5 industry-specific large-scale models, the creation of more than 5 data annotation industry bases, and the formation of over 2 digital industry clusters. By 2030, artificial intelligence is set to fully bolster high-quality development in Yunnan Province, with the intelligent economy emerging as a new engine for growth, fostering technological inclusivity and shared prosperity. By 2035, Yunnan Province will keep pace with the national advancements, fully entering a novel phase of the intelligent economy and intelligent society, where artificial intelligence is seamlessly integrated into every industry and sector of the economy and society.
