On December 23, the research institute Quest Mobile published its "Report on AI Application Interaction Innovation and Ecosystem Implementation for the Second Half of 2025." The report disclosed that, among all AI-native applications currently available in the market, Doubao, DeepSeek, Yuanbao, and Afu claimed the top four spots based on the latest weekly active user counts. Alibaba's Qianwen secured the fifth position, while Lingguang, a versatile AI assistant launched by Ant Group in November, managed to break into the top ten.

During the most recent statistical period, spanning from December 8 to December 14, the top 10 AI apps, ranked by weekly active user numbers, comprised six general-purpose AI apps and four professional AI apps tailored for vertical scenarios. This setup has fostered a competitive environment between general-purpose and vertical AI applications. Notably, ByteDance boasted three apps on this list, while Ant Group had two.

Among the general-purpose AI apps, Doubao led with a weekly active user base of 155 million. DeepSeek and Yuanbao followed, with 81.56 million and 20.84 million weekly active users, respectively. In the realm of vertical professional AI apps, Ant Group's AI health assistant, 'Afu,' emerged as the frontrunner, boasting a weekly active user count exceeding 10 million.
