According to the Wall Street Journal, Meta is accelerating the development of a new generation of artificial intelligence models within its Superintelligence Lab (headed by Alexandr Wang, co-founder of Scale AI), including an image and video model codenamed 'Mango' and a text model codenamed 'Avocado'. These two models are expected to be released in the first half of 2026 and are core projects of Meta's new round of AI strategy.
