On the afternoon of December 15, the three principal A-share indices experienced a collective downturn. The Shanghai Composite Index settled at 3,884.93 points, marking a 0.11% decline. Alongside it, the Shenzhen Component Index, ChiNext Index, and Beijing 50 Index also witnessed decreases. The overall market turnover reached 1.1985 trillion yuan, reflecting a 57.7 billion yuan reduction from the preceding day. Notably, over 2,600 stocks managed to climb higher.
In terms of sector performance, the dairy, liquor, insurance, retail, and steel sectors emerged as the frontrunners, spearheading the gains. Conversely, the film and cinema, AI-powered phones, and CPO (Customized Product Offering) concept sectors faced significant setbacks, ranking among the top decliners.
