On December 15, Ant Group revealed that its AI-powered health application, previously known as AQ, has undergone a rebranding and is now called “Ant Afu.” Alongside this change, the company launched an updated version of the app, emphasizing enhancements in three key areas: health companionship, Q&A services, and a broader range of health-related services. Presently, the “Ant Afu” app boasts a user base exceeding 15 million monthly active users, securing its position among the top five AI applications domestically and establishing itself as China’s largest AI-driven health management platform. According to reports, the app fields over 5 million health-related inquiries from users on a daily basis, with a notable 55% of its user base hailing from third-tier cities and below.
