As reported by the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, on December 13th, the Shenzhen Metro initiated the world's inaugural pilot project featuring the intelligent guide dog named "Xiaosuan" at the Huangmugang Transport Hub. Equipped with a suite of AI technologies, this innovative device is capable of executing tasks like route planning, navigation, and obstacle evasion in response to voice commands, thereby providing guidance for visually impaired passengers. Throughout the initial month of the trial phase, dedicated staff members will oversee its operation to ensure smooth functionality. Following a successful trial period, the intelligent guide dog will be gradually introduced on a wider scale.
