On the inaugural day of the 2025 Global Developers Pioneer Conference and the International Embodied Artificial Intelligence Skills Competition, Shanghai's Pudong New Area unveiled a series of initiatives to bolster innovation and entrepreneurship in the artificial intelligence sector. Pudong is set to embark on the full-scale development of the Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Innovation Town. As part of this endeavor, newly registered solo startups (OPC enterprises) will be eligible for complimentary computing resources valued at up to 300,000 yuan, complemented by a comprehensive 'Ten-in-One' entrepreneurship support package. These measures are designed to facilitate the addition of a thousand new enterprises to Pudong's AI landscape within three years, propel the artificial intelligence industry's scale beyond 250 billion yuan, and solidify Shanghai's standing and allure as a global AI hub.
