A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center has unveiled that 64% of American teenagers have engaged with AI chatbots. Among them, 28% utilize these chatbots on a daily basis, while 16% use them multiple times throughout the day or nearly constantly. When it comes to specific AI chatbots, ChatGPT emerges as the most favored, boasting a usage rate of 59%—a figure that significantly outstrips that of Google Gemini (23%) and Meta AI (20%). Moreover, YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Reddit continue to be the mainstay platforms frequented by teenagers.
