According to individuals with insider knowledge of the situation, Meta is potentially set to introduce a novel large language model dubbed 'Avocado' during the first quarter of 2026. This move is aimed at taking on competitors such as Google and OpenAI in the fiercely competitive AI arena. Back in June of this year, Meta's top brass, including CEO Mark Zuckerberg, engaged in discussions regarding the possibility of slashing investments in the company's Llama series of models.
