He pointed out that the mobile phone sector has been languishing without groundbreaking innovations for quite some time, and AI-powered mobile phones are emerging as a distinct and promising avenue for development. To elevate the user experience, Nubia has opted for an open collaboration approach with Doubao Mobile Assistant. Earlier, on December 1, the Doubao Mobile Assistant Technology Preview Version made its debut, initially available on the Nubia M153 model. This assistant boasts functionalities like voice wake-up and seamless cross-application operations. Nevertheless, during the testing phase, several glitches surfaced, such as users being forcibly logged out of WeChat and encountering difficulties logging in or making payments on certain apps. In response, Doubao promptly disabled the WeChat operation feature and is in the process of standardizing and fine-tuning some of the AI-driven mobile phone capabilities.
