On December 8, the Information Office of Shandong Province convened a press conference. During the event, it was disclosed that by 2025, the revenue generated by the core AI industry throughout Shandong Province is anticipated to exceed 120 billion yuan, representing approximately 10% of the entire nation's AI industry revenue. At present, Shandong is vigorously pushing forward with the establishment of a comprehensive AI industry chain. This chain encompasses a wide array of elements, starting from intelligent computing capabilities, data sets, and model algorithms, all the way to intelligent applications. Additionally, Shandong has already devised and put into effect the Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of the AI Industry in Shandong Province. Moreover, the province has secured approval as a pivotal province under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's AI innovation initiative.
