He elaborated that for map navigation to function effectively, location permissions are essential, while IM voice chats necessitate microphone and contact list permissions. All these permissions are contingent upon user consent and are crucial for the app's features to operate seamlessly, ensuring no breach of privacy occurs. The Privacy and Security White Paper of the Doubao Mobile Assistant explicitly outlines all permission usages, leaving no room for 'intrusion' or 'unauthorized entry'. It's important to note that the product is currently in a technical preview phase and is not aimed at the general public.
