On December 1, 2025, DeepSeek announced the simultaneous release of two official models: DeepSeek-V3.2 and DeepSeek-V3.2-Speciale. Currently, the official web interface, App, and API have all been updated to the DeepSeek-V3.2 official version for everyday user tasks, such as Q&A scenarios and general Agent tasks. DeepSeek-V3.2 matches the reasoning capabilities of GPT-5 and is slightly below Gemini-3.0-Pro, while producing shorter outputs to reduce computational costs and user waiting times. DeepSeek-V3.2-Speciale, as an enhanced long-thinking version, incorporates the theorem-proving capabilities of DeepSeek-Math-V2, featuring excellent instruction-following, mathematical proof, and logical verification abilities. It is currently available only as a temporary API service for community evaluation and research.
