Recently, in response to a substantial surge in user demand, Google has overhauled the access privileges for free users of its AI offerings, namely Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro. Previously, free users of Gemini 3 Pro were entitled to submit 5 prompts daily, and those using Nano Banana Pro could create and modify up to 3 images per day. Currently, free users are granted only fundamental access rights. The daily cap on the "thinking" function of Gemini 3 Pro is now subject to erratic fluctuations. As for Nano Banana Pro, the permissions for generating and editing images have been slashed to a mere 2 images per day, with the possibility of further frequent adjustments to these limits. Moreover, the NotebookLM platform has temporarily disabled access to certain newly introduced features. Consequently, free users are now barred from utilizing the infographic and slideshow capabilities. Even Pro subscribers are encountering additional constraints. Nevertheless, the usage allowances for Google AI Pro or Ultra subscribers remain intact, with no changes imposed.
